Meet the founders

Ross & Jack Williams-Hirst are business partners, who spent years working as freelance hair stylists.

They had an idea to create a salon that put independent hairdressers like them at the heart.

That was the beginning of the Williams & Hirst cowork salon.

The cowork salon concept

Welcome to the cowork salon. Like a salon, but when you cut out the boss. Everyone here works for themselves. So when people book an appointment here, a small business or individual also gets a better cut.

The salon story

Ross and Jack Williams-Hirst knew that the cowork salon had to be in Soho, so that clients and stylists could meet there easily.

In 2023, they found an empty storefront, an old video game store, on Wardour Street.

Since then, they’ve been renovating the place to fit 18 work stations for stylists, colourists and specialists - including a private room.
